An incredible spot with outstanding food, spectacular drinks, awesome staff and great atmosphere. best pad Thai I've had in a while. Wish they were operating in Nashville, where I currently live- such an awesome regional chain (and this means a lot coming from an inherent chain skeptic:) Northstar really lives up to their mission & ideals in actual practice. The food was delicious! The service was a little odd because before we ordered, a server was there talking to us and said even though we ordered at the counter, she’d be around to check on and take care of us throughout our experience, but after getting our food, we never saw her again. We wanted waters and had to go get them ourselves. Which was fine, just not what we were expecting. But the food was so good! Especially the mason jar carrot cake. I also got the Thai burrito and I loved it!
Everything about this place is amazing! The service was on point and the food did indeed hit the spot. I had the chicken avocado sandwich with light chicken, side of fries with rosemary aioli and freshly squeezed orange juice. YUM!
2025/05/19 - the steak and enchilada dinner is awesome. The homemade ginger ale is unbelievable! You will not be disappointed. 2024/06/25 - The food is really good. I really enjoyed the Chicken & Avocado with the wild rice. The Bourbon Blackberry Smash is excellent.
Had breakfast here. Good quality ingredients and well prepared. Fresh bread and orange juice is on point. Overall, my only negative sentiments were based on personal preference. For example, the order at the counter and sit down situation seems inappropriate for such a nice restaurant. Also, I ordered 6 eggs and they came out on three separate plates, which was strange. With all that said, I highly recommend the place and would go back.
Stopped for brunch. They were pretty busy but got us thru pretty quick. Seems to be a good place to drink as a lot were drinking around the bar. We grabbed a Chopped Salad and Sunrise Burrito. Both were tasty.
The food was delicious but the service and space really make this place great! The Northstar veggie burger was homemade with fresh ingredients and very tasty. It is also served with a salad. We also had a pizza, which was fine but not special. Our guest loved the Pad Thai. The service was outstanding. The food arrived very quickly despite the crowd and there were staff constantly circulating to remove empty dishes and accommodate any requests. The counter staff went above and beyond to understand my food allergy and make sure the order was handed appropriately.
